‘Sustainable Work’ project

With the ‘Sustainable Work’ project, we want to offer our colleagues the support and framework needed to reconcile the best of both worlds: remote and on-site working.

For instance, we immerse everyone in the finer points of efficient working and time management, give advice on achieving common goals in hybrid teams, enhance digital skills and provide a framework for remote leadership.

A future-proof transformation journey requires high-quality support. The training and mentoring is made possible in part by support from the European Union and the Flemish Government.

JobRoad – integration through work

Initiated by House of HR and Accent, JobRoad has been guiding people from vulnerable groups to a suitable employer for the right job since 2016. The highly personal approach breaks through the barriers of language, mobility and competency that hamper easy access to the labour market. It is an efficient lever to help these people into a job within a year, significantly speeding up their integration process.

We use a proprietary JobRoad model adapted to each specific target group (people with a migration background, newcomers, over-55s and NEET youths). The personal support for the candidate in finding an employer is provided in three speedily completed phases: a kickstart, a screening day and project days. This project is part of the overarching ‘Agile Careers for All Talents’ (WELT) programme, in collaboration with Voka, the Flanders Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

JobRoad – reintegration through work

A second JobRoad project for which we receive ESF support is called reintegration through work. This ESF project aims to assist former prisoners in their reintegration into society and guide them back towards the labour market. Thanks to the ESF, JobRoad is able to organise project days for employers and screened jobseekers in courthouses and prisons in West and East Flanders. This project too consists of three steps: the kickstart, the screening day and the project days.
